Genuine OEM air conditioning receiver drier for the Mahindra Scorpio 2.49, 2.5 and 2.6. Part 1203BA0911N — the R/D unit that stores liquid refrigerant and holds moisture out of the circuit, export-packed and quoted within 24 hours.
Inside the drier is a desiccant bag that absorbs whatever moisture finds its way into the refrigerant. Moisture in an AC circuit forms acid, corrodes the compressor from the inside and freezes at the expansion valve — which is why a system that cools well for ten minutes and then stops is often a moisture problem rather than a gas problem.
The desiccant is finite. Once it is saturated it cannot be dried out again, so the drier is a replacement item rather than something to be cleaned and refitted.
A drier left open to the air starts absorbing atmospheric moisture within minutes. Fit it last, keep the caps on until the union is ready, and evacuate the system properly before recharging.
If the compressor has failed and shed debris, replace the drier and the expansion valve along with it. Refilling a contaminated circuit around an old drier is the quickest way to kill the new compressor.

Yes — treat it as part of the same job. The old drier is saturated and, if the compressor failed, holds debris that will go straight into the new one.
The body is marked for use with both R12 and R134a. Tell us which refrigerant your system runs on and we will confirm the right line before quoting.
