Genuine OEM rear flexible brake hose for the Mahindra CJ340 and MM540 Willys Jeep. Part 0011631 — braided hose with threaded end fittings, export-packed and quoted within 24 hours.
The rear hose carries full braking pressure from the fixed pipe on the body to the axle, which moves with every bump. Rubber perishes from the inside as well as the outside, so a hose can look sound and still be failing.
A spongy pedal that firms up on a second push means a hose is ballooning under pressure. A brake that stays partly applied after you lift off usually means the inner lining has collapsed and is acting as a one-way valve.
Hold the hose fitting and turn the pipe nut, never the other way round. A hose tightened by twisting chafes against the axle or the chassis and fails early.
Bleed the circuit fully once the hose is on, and check clearance through the full range of suspension travel before the vehicle goes back on the road.
