Genuine OEM intercooler for the Mahindra Scorpio 2.49 and 2.5. Part 0304AC0090N — the charge-air cooler that sits between turbocharger and inlet manifold, fitment-verified and export-packed for international freight.
Compressing air heats it. Air leaving the turbocharger can be far hotter than ambient, and hot air is less dense, which means less oxygen per cylinder filling and a hotter combustion cycle than the engine was designed for.
The intercooler puts that heat back into the atmosphere before the air reaches the inlet manifold. The result is a denser charge, better combustion, and lower thermal load on pistons and valves.
Intercoolers sit at the front of the vehicle where stones and debris reach them. A punctured tube or a split end tank shows up as a boost leak: sluggish response, smoke under load, and often a boost-pressure fault code.
Oil pooling inside the core is a separate warning sign. It usually points at turbocharger seal wear upstream, and fitting a clean intercooler without addressing the turbo simply fills the new one.
Clear answers for importers, workshops, and distributors.
0304AC0090N is a Mahindra OEM cooling component for Mahindra Scorpio (2.49 · 2.5). Intercooler is supplied with fitment verification for export orders.
Loss of power under load with a boost-pressure fault stored is the usual pattern. A pressure test of the charge-air system will confirm it and locate the leak, which is often a hose or clamp rather than the core itself.
Worth considering. The hoses age in the same heat and are a common source of boost leaks. We list an intercooler hose set for Scorpio 2.49, 2.5 and 2.6 — ask and we will quote them together.
