Genuine OEM common rail diesel injector for the Mahindra Scorpio S10 and XUV500. Part 0305BAM00270N — supplied with protective caps fitted, fitment-verified and export-packed for international freight.
A common rail injector opens and closes several times per combustion cycle against rail pressures far above anything a mechanical system produced. The clearances inside it are measured in microns, which is why cleanliness during fitting matters as much as the part itself.
The protective caps are on the ports for a reason. Leave them in place until the moment of fitting — a single particle of debris drawn into an injector is enough to hold the nozzle off its seat.
Injectors rarely fail for no reason. Water in the fuel, contaminated diesel, or a filter left in far beyond its interval are the common causes, and all of them will attack a new injector exactly as they attacked the old one.
Renew the fuel filter and drain the water separator when the injector goes in. If one injector has failed on contamination, have the others tested rather than assuming they are unaffected.
Clear answers for importers, workshops, and distributors.
0305BAM00270N is a Mahindra OEM powertrain component for Scorpio & XUV500 (Scorpio S10; XUV500). Injector is supplied with fitment verification for export orders.
0305BAM00270N — Injector — is a shared part across Scorpio / Goa and XUV500 (Scorpio S10; XUV500). One part number covers all of them, so quote against the number rather than the model. Send your VIN and we will confirm fitment against Mahindra's catalogue before you order.
Common rail injectors are normally supplied with a calibration code that has to be written into the engine ECU against the cylinder it is fitted to. Plan for diagnostic access when you fit it — an uncoded injector will run, but not correctly.
Not necessarily, but have the others tested. If the failure was caused by fuel contamination the rest of the set has seen the same fuel. Replacing one and leaving three marginal ones often means a return visit.
0305BAM00270N is listed for the Scorpio S10 and the XUV500. Send your VIN and we will confirm against Mahindra's catalogue before quoting, as injector part numbers change with engine specification.
